Greetings from Austin Minnosota! Yet another lovely day here! The open barrow show had 135 head that showed today, which seems to me to be up from the past. Here are some of the results:
Champion Berkshire- Greg Innerst of PA
Reserve Ch.Berkshire-Mclayn Musick of Il(Yea!!!)
Champion Spot- Jon Hoover of In
The Polands and Chesters were put into the AOB division with Landrace. The Landrace from the HV class was Champion, and the reserve was the light Chester from Schaffers of Il. Mills had second in the Heavy division with their Poland.
As far as the truckloads went, there was only one CPS breed load- a Spot load by the Chapman family of Iowas, which stood 2nd in the Heavy division. As usual there were several Berkshire entries in the truckload division-Berks are always well represented in the truckloads.
I didnt get the junior show written down yesterday, but I am sure that Tom will have that put up on the TP site ASAP.
Looking forward to the breeding stock show tomorrow
Erin
