Removing the positives should not be a big deal as it will be a level playing field for all players in the breed. Even if it does lower the quality of Poland hogs in the short term it doesnt really matter as Polands are not used for crossbreeding any more. I do believe that the timing was poor and doesnt give everyone enough time to purchase the correct boars for the WPX breeding season. The decision should have been made and announced prior to WPX this year to give plenty of time. I would be really hot if i just purchased a positive or carrier boar at the WPX as I am sure some did.
