greetings from Western Illinois!
I am sure that you are right about Illinois. Here we have to have everything bled, even if it is just for the local 4-H show. As far as other states go, I know that we had to pull blood for the World Pork Expo, we will have to for the National Barrow Show, and at both of those shows they generally check your health papers before you are allowed off of your trailer. We also had to have a special blood test for theSW conference in Texas last winter. This is why I say that all of the CPS national shows are this way and not just the state. We have had to get separate blood tests every year that we have shown in these shows, which has been many years. The blood test requirement for the TP show has been intact ever since the very first show we had. I realize that this is in Illinois, but like I said, ever year at both NBS and Expo we have had the same requirements. WE have to draw lots of blood for all of the shows that we do.
Thanks
