Had you already entered your pigs, and then found this out? If you did, Tom sent out health regulations in a packet to the kids.
For future reference, all CPS National shows, which will also include NBS, Southwest Type, etc, all have special health regulations. The health papers that you use for your county fairs, or show circuits, wont work for national shows. Generall speaking, the blood has to be pulled 30 days before the show. The papers also have other statements on them, like that the hog has not been fed raw garbage, or been in quarentine.
I dont know which state you are in, but in Illinois, all hogs have to be blood tested just to show- county fairs and show circuit included. Our circuit health papers dont have to be as elaborate as national papers, and are good for 90 days.
