I had a mmeting today with the personel with the Illinois State Fairgrounds and they have completed all of the electrical work, therefore the STC will go on as planned. Please note however, we will share the fairgrounds on Saturday with a National 4 wheel jamboree. Therefore the main gate-Gate 11 which we use on the south end of the fairgrounds will not be open on Saturday, therefore all STC exhibitors will be using gate 7-North end of fairgrounds on Saturday. Additionally the 2 parking lots -Lot 1 which is west of the Junior barn and Lot 21-which is North of the sheep barn will not be available the entire week. We have requested that the street that runs to the west side of the hog barn be reserved for swine producers only on Saturday. Camping will be availble the entire week, and campers will utilize the carnival midway area which has all the hook ups needed. The camp ground where you usually utilize is not available the entire week. We will try to post a map of the fairgrounds on the websight sometime after the expo and will be posting reminders of these slight hardships from now until at the event. We must make some changes from the regular routine, but these two activities can co-exist without major problems.
