unfortunately most people identify stress with the 1843 hal gene however there are several gene associated with porcine stress syndrome (PSS)the one that is tested for most commonly is just like the check engine light in your truck sometimes the engine is ready to blow other nothing much wrong otherwise we wouldn't have stress negative hogs going down and turning blue at shows
