The money lost by the city of Springfield if there wasn't a state fair would be devastating. There are enough shirt tails being rode in our fine capital that I feel this is all being blown way out of proportion. It will be fixed and hopefully by then our governor will be in jail for being "political figure exhibit A" in yet another case of corruption in Illini land ....
While I'm ranting can we annex Cook Co. to Indiana or Michigan or Wisconsin ???? We'll throw in Oprah too !
