I am selling about half of my berk sow herd. I am going to keep around 15 sows for myself. I have around 10 sows that i would like to sell. They all are pastured farrowed and are raised on dirt with an electric fence. Most all are out of Kenny Shaffners stock. Sows are probaly not the show quality but for the berkshire gold or any other market for berks, they are a good fit knowing this because this is what i used them for. I have turned them out with the boars and would like to sell them as bred sows for $250. They are about 3-5 year old.
I also have a boar that is a Blacksmith x Mr.Universe. He is a 2 year old and is also raised in a dirt lot with an electric fence. He is a great breeders and works great with the sows I am selling. That is what I have used him on the past 2 year to sell berkshire feeders pigs. I am askin $150 for him and would love to sell the sows with him. This whole unit of pigs would be great for anybody looking to sell berk feeder or fat hogs.
