"Welcome, Paradox... Autumn's Leaves," she said, nodding at the two in turn. "It is nice to meet you both, and since you all are coming into my home, I'd rather not be a stranger. Feel free to tell me about yourselves... I have all the time the world may need." She wasn't lying in either comment; she knew of how other packs simply whisked members in without requesting much more than a name, while Tayen would prefer knowing much more about those who would soon share a family with her. She'd rather her pack be close-knit friends than loosely woven strangers. Most would find it odd that Tayen would be the sort to care, with her otherwise nonchalant exterior that others were usually given. But she had finally gotten her lands back... she didn't need time for anything at all; just to enjoy them as a home, and allow others to do so as well. She missed the few who had once shared it with her, but guessed they had simply moved on with their lives, or not longed to stay beneath Cortana's rule. But with that out the way, maybe someday they would return, or she would simply grow accustomed to new faces.
