She was moving too fast, unable to redirect her attack as Tayen moved. Her jaws now centered for the narrow part of the black wolfess, there was little she could do but try to get a hold on it. She could feel Tayen diving down at her, but there was nothing she could do this time. Lucky for her, Cortana was moving fast enough where the other wolf's jaws didn't touch her face or head, but her scruff. Feeling the teeth collide with her thick fur, she felt the grip take hold, missing the muscle but catching the loose skin that lay over it. It wasn't a sever bite, but still... Once she had closure to her move, Cortana would do all she could to correct her situation.
