((No, you MADE it too close to miss. And besides that, the only reason Cortana's dodging pretty much everything is because she in DEFENSE mode. Notice she really hasn't attacked but once and that was still in defence. And as for rolling over Tayen in the air, it's not impossible. My lab used to do that to the neighbor's shepherd all the time. I've watched a lot of dogs fight, and what dogs can do, wolves can do. Just because I'm not making Cortana LUNGE into the battle like Tayen doesn't mean I'm wrong. While the last time she was trying to take over, this time it's all in defending. She's got something to defend, it makes sense.))
Cortana didn't move, choosing to see wether it was a fake like her's. At first she thought it was, watching tayen stop for a second, but suddenly it was clear that it wasn't a feint at all. The wolfess took a quick step back, all that she could do for movement in the allowed time spectrum. Focusing on Tayen's snout, the wolfess opened her jaws and punged in, aiming to get a grip around them or a tooth in the eye.
