Cortana's technique was not getting to her, and Tayen relaxed her muscles, launching herself again, but lightly and without a large amount of energy, only sitting still a couple of seconds before relaxing and allowing Cortana to make a circle from behind her. It was an idiotic move; that would have been a wise place to attack, yet Cortana gave up her advantage, although Tayen doubted she wouldn't be able to react enough to catch the wolf either way. She decided not to worry too much about this as she aimed her jaws slightly higher up, this time toward's Cortana's throat, still keeping her body low to earth.
