The white and pink wolf narrowed her eyes in protest at being called "Lady", wings giving an almost indignant flutter. "Please, Blade," she said with a snort of laughter. "You're my friend. You don't need to give me formalities." In all senses it was true. Even with the age difference, the gray and black brute was the closest thing to a real friend that Cortana had. Yes, Katannah and she shared a similar trust and understanding that most called friendship, but with Blade it was different.. She just wished she knew how or why.
"Yes," the wolfess gave the younger brute a smile. "I'm feeling much better." Wagging her pink tipped tail, Cortana's pink paws danced as she made a circle to show him everything was in working order. "I was just wondering if you'd like to go on a hunt?"
