Katannah sat. She wouldn't place blame it was her decision. Katannah breathed in. Tayen wouldn't understand...but she would try to make her see why. "I didn't want to be someones pawn any longer. When I was in the tunnel the fumes and heat was the signal to end all things wrong in my life. But it was my fault...I had let Knives use me...then Lestat use me. I was getting death in return. Cortana came and offered me a home some where to belong and be equal...in return I had promised to protect it. The volcano would have destroyed this land...my home. I couldn't let it...so I turned away from the Volcano, I realize that I may have chosen for you all to hate me forever, but that was a choice I made in order to live...without some leaching canine commanding my every move...I know too much of the world to allow someone to kill me..." Katannah finished. Looking Tayen in the eyes. her blue and gray eyes focused hard on the wolf...would she understand...maybe not but this was her reasoning.
