There was a gleam of slight vehemence in her eyes as she flew in on Zig-Zag's back, the black and white striped dragon landing deep within the borders with a thud. Tayen jumped off the dragon's back, glancing to the sky where two other duality dragon's soon landed, followed by a large Smokey Grey dragon. All of the dragons were fully grown, save for the yellow and black stripped duality, Hyper Light. Deep Sea, a sea green and deep blue dragon stood beside Zig-Zag, the largest and oldest of all the dragons.
It didn't take much effort to see that Tayen was angry as she padded further into the lands with disdain of the borders. The hell with formalities, that wolf Cortana had turned against Lestat, breaking whatever alliance they had gained, even with their treatises made. She wanted to know exactly what had caused her to double-cross. Treachery was not something Tayen liked, and all trust she had had in the wolf was slowly dissapating. How long had Cortana planned this? Had she joined them just to be able to foil their plan? If Tayen had ended up joining the pack beneath her, would she have been double-crossed as well?
The midnight wolf released a sharp howl, half-wanting somebody to greet her with ill intentions; she wouldn't hesistate to take out her already highly built anger on them. She hadn't become much stronger in the blessing area, yet her following in dragons was rather convienent. She wished she had taken time to gather old friends among the mountian, but didn't see it neccesary. All she wanted was to talk to one wolf, and if that wasn't allowed, she'd set the entire pack aflame /again/.
"Go on lookout, Hyper Light, I want to know everything that's going on in here," Tayen commanded, and the bright dragon took off, golden scales glittering in contrast with the ebony ones. Her bright silver eyes turned, glancing between Zig-Zag and Deep Sea. It would be time for them to produce even more offspring in a few months. She had given away one of Zig-Zag's eggs... or was it Deep Sea's? She could no longer remember of what descent Hyper Light was, and simply shrugged it off. Umbriel, the Smokey Grey, would also need to bring additions into their family. Tayen's admiration for dragons was highly visible, althought it was duality's she loved to most. It was by chance she had stumbled across Umbriel, amazed at being associated with a creature with a single head, yet finding it a big easier than taming the restless duality's. She did not see them as property, but almost as family, or a miniature pack that she was the mother of or alpha of. Zig-Zag and her had the closest bond, helping her in besting a ferocious aqua dragon. The others had simple helped in smaller scratched, yet the monochrome dragon was most trusted.
She stood impatiently, scanning the boundaries for any sign of motion. She need a very good reason for this treachery, as her rage was building. "Lay low, don't appear threatening," Tayen said on second thought, and Zig-Zag lowered, the black head hissing and the white giving and nonchalant grunt. Deep Sea did so with more obedience, yet the smokey grey merely sat to his haunches, puffing a blast of smoke from his nostrils. Neither of them had been badly injured during the battle on the mountai, although Zig-Zag was slightly exhausted from blessing use.
The longing for an answer was killing her. She took in the smell of charred grass... shoots were popping up, though, and the pack was healing of its own nature. She could tell by the look in the three dragons' eyes that they remembered, while Hyper Light circled in the air with no familiarity as to what he was looking at. Long ago, she had wanted all of her dragons to see this as a home. Now there was little possibility, unless the gained the strength to retake it. Maybe today would be the day? Or maybe some other time, when she gained even more experience in battle. Her victory had almost been assured, had it not been for the run in with the Swap blessing... but Cortana may have developed more tricks, and Tayen didn't want to risk it. She still battled in her mind... a fight was a fight. At the same time, she wanted answers more than she wanted conflict.
