Juvenile wolf brute landed roughly on the Coral Flower Pack lands legs almost giving they touched ground. Blade trembled, his first few months alive had been rough.... And wasted, but his purpose was fulfilled for now... Until his father would return for him again...... Panting heavily the wolf tipped his head up and howled, it was just now how much he realized he had changed.
He was very muscular now from moving all that dirt and his voice had deepened a lot from that squeaky puppy voice, but fear gripped him as he wondered, "Will Zora even recognize me? I was only with her for two months of her life... Will anyone else recognize me either? Then again I really don't know that many others..." He howled again this time specifically calling the aqua dragoness to him.
He waited for a time before laying on the cold ground night beginning to fall. He sighed, so she did move on... Then the sound of wings beating in the air caught the husky/wolf's ears. His teal eyes searched the sky franticly until he saw just what he had hoped.
The dark blue scaled aqua was flying as fast as her wings could carry her towards the origin of the howl. It had to be him this time, it called for her, just for her. She had to give it to him now before something forced him or her to leave again. She landed and set a metallic blue egg on the ground next to him. Strange he seemed so much bigger a few months ago. Picking him up with her claws as if she did her precious baby she hugged him. "Master Blade your back!" She said excitedly then quieted and looked toward the egg. "I have something for you." She said shyly before putting him down.
Blade was surprised but pleased with the hug, the dragoness had no clue how much he cared for her for that. Twitching at the word master he said darkly. "Don't call me "Master" Zora." He was sick of the words Master and Lord... "Just Blade, your good friend." He said a bit more light hearted. He walked to the egg and examined it, it was just like her egg. Looking into Zora's silver eyes he said. "Is this yours, I mean your kit?" He said looking at the little shaking metallic egg amazed.
"Yes, Dovial, who belongs to Lady Cortana, is the father, I let him have the other two eggs." She said nudging the egg closer to him. "I want you to help me take care of... Oh look!" She said pointing to a large crack that appeared on its shell.
The crack quickly evolved into a hole then burst in half growls and mists floating about as the little baby aqua climbed out of its egg.
"He looks like his father but with my dark blue scales!" Zora said even more excited.
Blade looked at the dragon as his mother began breathing water on him to clean him off. It was dark blue and had silver grey eyes, like Zora, but then had some golden scales mixed in, some dark blue ones lined with gold giving the dragon a god like appearance. "How do you know its a boy?" He said looking at it for any distinctive markings but seeing none. He looked up at Zora who just smiled picking up the now crying baby who wanted food.
She examined the baby for any defects seeing that he was perfect she said defiantly, "I'm his mother I know!" Wandering Zora set him on the ground carefully and watched him go up to Blade sniffing him curiously before crying at him for food next.
Blade smiled, "What are you to name him?" He patted the dragon on the head still grinning.
"Its up to you." She said, "You are his owner like you are to me."
Astonished he looked down at the kit then sat down to think on it. "Go find food for him by the time your back, he'll have a name."
