The wolfess awoke from her light sleep with a low growl. She had only been sleeping for a few hours and was not really in the mood to deal with anyone at the moment. Oh well, so was the duties of an alpha. Cortana rose from her spot in the den, prodding the orange egg she had been sleeping with fondly before trekking back up the long tunnel to the outside world. Pushing back the vine-like tendrils of the coral flowers that shrouded the entrance to the den, the pink and white wolf was shocked momentarily to see sunlight.
Cortana jogged towards the roars, obviously feline, already scabbed over burn wound cracking in pain. Ignoring the troubles of her mortal flesh, the fea searched the fields with her dark pink cores for the stranger, no doubt a member of these lands. For how much longer, the wolfess would not know. Catching the green feline in her sight, the wolfess padded over on pink paws, pink striping along her back jittering with each stride. Cortana raised her tail, keeping her posture in the dominant fashion. At least she had had a few hours to recouperate from the battle.
"I am Cortana," she stated bluntly in her bold voice, eyes narrowing as she looked over the green tiger. "What is your purpose here?"
