Cortana gave the wolf a genuine smile and bowed her head politely. The dragons came to her with no shock seeing as she was absolutely in love with the species. The wolfess knew her poor little Spartan would never grow to the size of a dualty, but loved him anyway. She needed to go fetch the egg, but she knew she was in no hurry. Fire couldn't harm a dragon egg, to be honest she hoped it urged the dragonling to hatch faster. "I appreciate the help with putting out the fire," she spoke over the sound of hissing steam.
The circle was growing thanks to the water from the dragons and Cortana was truly grateful. With all the skills she possessed, water was not yet one of them. She could use her ice beam to transfer the water from one place to another and melt on the flames, but that would be tiring and take a lot longer without the help of the dragon. "Farewell, Tayen," she said, pink eyes still focused on the wolf. "I look forward to meeting you again... Perhaps on better conditions."
The wolfess gave a last smile before turning and sending a beam of ice far out into the flames. The air hissed and steamed as the ice melted quickly and slowly dispersed the flames. Cortana panted, losing a lot of energy from that one use. She would need to wait before she could do it again.
