((Bush fire is weak against water, so pretty much the melting ice would stop the water from spreading there. Even without the melting water, Tayen cast the blessing towards where Cortana was, so it would spread to Tayen's spot anyways, but not immedately. While mist is used to put out fires, they usually aren't immense bush fires like the one Tayen made... it takes a bit more to put out a large fire, and the mist would have to be towards the ground to actually stop the fire instead of just stop it from spreading a little bit.

But using the fog to counter the fire isn't as much as a problem as using poison barb right after using fog, because fog stops other blessings from working for three turns. So she wouldn't be able to use poison barb right afterwards.))
