Tayen held no recognition of the wolf who came to the border and called, although she did know that it was a voice and it had awoken her from her slumber. This was all she needed to know to be put into a rather cantankerous mood; she couldn't say she wasn't the mistress of truculence and being a bit agitated wasn't new, but still, the interuption of her rest could always summon a bit of anger. Her silver eyes peeked open and the light from the outskirts of her den made them water slightly. Blinking until her eyes adjusted, the she-wolf slowly crawled out of her resting place, padding slowly towards the borders of her pack. Surreal and Tayen had a treaty; Tayen was to be the beta of the pack, and if Surreal was to pass away, it would fall into the midnight wolf's paws. But once again, Surreal had gone, and Tayen had taken over once again to prevent the reign of any other wolf. Her slender figure shifted comfortably through the dawn's light, her nose wrinkling slightly as she took in the scent. It wasn't familiar at all to her, but she feared not to greet whoever now came. She was fully accustomed to greeting strangers, whether she was of help to them in healing, or had to fight them to keep posession of her new home. Either way, Tayen held fear for little to no creatures, save for one type that had done her harm... yet she and Zig-Zag had done best to strew that memory into the past. Tayen was the lover of Dualities, a breed of dragon which she couldn't help but admire for their posession of two heads, two minds. The first she had come to own, Zig-Zag, was the dragon that was almost always where she was, save for certain circumstances. The dragon also lived within the pack, although many times left to explore the mountain on its own whim. Today it slept until the sharp canine sound rouses both the black and white head, its scales of black and white shifting as it also rose, lifting into flight. Of course, Tayen was first to come across the wolf, and the large dragon circled a moment before landing with a thud beyond the she-wolf. Her silver eyes scrutinized the brute carefully, empennage curling over her back with obvious authority. Both heads eyed the wolf with curiousity, yet no obvious concern. If the wolf decided to challenge their alpha, they could do nothing... but they doubted Tayen would easily fall. Tayen's blank disposition faltered as the pink within her mouth was revealed in a gaping yawn, her teeth flashing momentarily as she curled her lips for a long moment, then flicked out her tongue and snapped her jaws shut with a slight sigh, rubbing the pink muscle over her whiskers a few times. If it wasn't any more obvious the she-wolf had just woke up, she rose a paw and rubbed it over her eyes, blinking before glancing back the the wolf and resuming her former noble presence. "Do you need anything? If not, I'll get back to my nap, thank you," she said in a somewhat bored drawl, although she couldn't help but be slightly interested as to having another guest. Her pack had been rather empty these days, and she hadn't talked to many. She love to have a chance to heckle some wolf or another before either going to sleep or hunting for Deep Sea, who had vanished into the folds of nowhere....
