Meredith Festa at Guardians of Rescue organization in New York reports:
"I know we are tapped on resources. We need cat and dog food, flea meds, and are drowning in vet bills from animals hurt in the storm. All the shelters were hit hard. I am working on a list. I have no power and cell service is intermittent. We help the local shelters, so anything coming thru Guardians of Rescue is getting dispersed to who needs it under our Sheltering Arms Program. Www.guardiansofrescue.org
I will get you a better list tomorrow as to what everyone needs. I just gave all my extra crates to the town shelter. Too many loose pets and not enough room."
PLEASE HELP GUARDIANS OF RESCUE who are working tirelessly for the animals displaced by Hurricane Sandy!
