Use a PHA Bull, I have seen you need to have a bug in the woodpile to get a great one. 2 bugs are even better.

Not really ive had them bugs. Its not as easy as you think you calve enough th and ph calves out after while shit gets old. Or your best cows go. without a calve for a whole year it isnt very enjoyable. Tired of it If my best cows cant raise 10 grand calves that are clean im going back to the drawing board!!!

I agree. Where are the ethics within the shorthorn community? Do we really want a breed filled with genetic mutations that are really hard to get rid of??? Stick with the negatives! You can get great calves from these cows too, if your genetics are actually as solid as you think they are.

Use POKERFACE TH and Pha free he was calf champ at L'ville Ali son x Irish whiskey 3/4 maine. I only had 2 last year Nick Reiman has half of the heifer and the steer was lot 1 in Rodgers sale-$31,000.

i just came from a farm sat and looked at some POKERFACE calves and they were really nice, they were 75 percent baldies and big boned. i am definitely going back this fall hoping i can get one.
