I think a few of them judged some of the open show cattle but judged a different ring at the junior show. It seems silly to fly the judges in and pay them, but not keep them to pick the top prize. They worked all weekend to sort through the cattle to get the ones to the top in the supreme drive - so let them finish their job! I agree the Angus was not the soundest bull in the world but he has so much to offer and was the most ideal bull out there. He does however meet his track, so I would not call him "crippled."
