Gelbviehs Posted by Amanda - KY on April 21, 2008, 11:03 pm 208.60.225.172 I'm not very familiar with the Gelbvieh breed and was looking at a few potential heifers to buy for show from a friend. Trying to determine whether these heifers are small for their age or not. What should the typical yearling Gelbvieh heifer weigh? Thanks in advance!  Post a Response

Depends on their feeding and managment program they have been under. Most are around a frame 6-6.5.
