Larger one was a really hard pull. I'd hate to think what the bw would be if they had been bull calves. Cows do not get grain - forage only. Both these calves were buck kneed when born, but straightened up in a couple of months. Surprisingly, I really like them both as yearlings, just not sure I want to deal with the birthweight issues if I keep them for replacements.  Post a Response

The bull out of charolais cross that usually throws large calves he was 85lbs. All three are are good calves no structure problems and very stylish JH  Post a Response
