MaineTainer is the promotional trademark name given to registered Maine-Anjou seedstock that range in percentage from ¼ to 5/8 percent Maine-Anjou.
emale MaineTainer registration can come from either side of the pedigree. Different than a MaineTainer bull registration either the sire or dam can be a non-registered individual. If this is the case then the opposite side of the pedigree must at least be a registered ½ MaineTainer in order to meet the ¼ progeny requirement.
