Rumors are just that, rumors. The show went according as planned. There were open and junior cattle shows, market and breeding swine shows for juniors, market and junior breeding sheep shows and open goat shows. The annual Livestock Judging contest took place as well. Thanks for those who attended and for supporting the show with all the rumors and issues we've faced over the previous year and prior. The ENLS board is always looking for good folks to help manage the show. As for the outcome, to be honest, time will tell. The first thing that will happen is premiums will be paid within 30 days of the show. When that's complete a full evaluation of the show will take place including financial evaluation and reorganizing if the show is to move forward. I believe it's the current Boards hope to know the direction of the show by the end of November. The Board would also like to recognize and thank the State of Maryland for their financial support over the years and with these uncertain times, truthfully, we don't know the direction the State will proceed. We all have work to do! Again thanks for the support and if possible we will continue. Please feel free to contact me, Gabe, with any concerns that you may have or with any rumors you hear. Special thanks go out to the MD State Fair, Anne, Scott, Jen, Bud, Jessie and wife, Brenda and those willing to assist with all the assistance during the show.
