Help/Still learning

My daughter is showing a steer for the first time this year.I have no clue what to do with an issue that happens at every show. She has an Angus about 920lbs. when the steer is in the barn at home he looks great. As soon as we get him to a show he stops eating and drinking and his ribs start showing. he looks sunkin in on both sides. if anyone has some sugestions I would be greatfull.
