Steer wont eat

I have a steer thats like 1100lbs and hes never really been interested in his feed, ive tried adding a little of this and that and he will eat a little then will just stop, i have never had this problem b4, usally they will just chow, my fair is in sept and he needs to be fatter how can i get him to eat? ive gave him b12 and still no luck hes got a mineral/salt block and everything PLEASE HELP ME
