I'm not saying there is no middle ground, just that there is no easy answer. It's tougher to get to the middle ground than the average person realizes. I wish there was a bull that made them stout, hairy, and sellable without a calving issue, but it will never happen. Too many variables in each operation. I'm just afraid that someone will throw out a bull name like Dr. Who, or Money Man, or Hardcore, or Paleface and that people will assume that they will have a problem free calving season. Bulls like this are closer to the middle ground we seek, but will still surprise you at least a time or two each year.
