Have a neighbor that is losing calves (2-3 mos. old). They can be running and appear 100% healthy, and dead within 6 hours. No signs of much upon posting. One vet mentioned maybe it was toxins in the wheat hay. Not a lot of experience around here with wheat or wheat hay, so does anyone know anything about this? What should she have it tested for? Symptoms?
Thanks!
