Does she try to get away from everyone or just your son? we had a heifer like that once and nothing seemed to help except walking her in a ring of some sorts she knew that she couldn't get very far if she tried..also if you can rig up something like those horse walkers that you could have her tied to while your son is walking beside her then if she tries to get away and can't she might stop messing with him! Good luck, I know how you are feeling!
