OK, now that I've found my password and all that good stuff....I have to say a few things...(I've tried for months, but could not email to get a new password, so was trying forever to find my old one).
I have been a Cinderella fan since their first tour opening up for David Lee Roth, I am also a musician and played the club circuit in Central Florida throughout the late 80's till about 91...
I've seen Cinderella on every single tour that brought them to Florida....The are, to me, the most frustrating band out there right now....Tom Keifer ranks at the very top for me as a fan, I've seen very few musicians that put forth the energy, the effort and has the talent that he has. I understand what he is going through as a vocalist right now, I was at the Priest/Whitesnake concert, without whitesnake, similar situation....Look, I'm not trying to badmouth anyone associated with Cinderella, but is it too hard to let us, the fans, know what's going on?....Go home tonight and watch the Detroit Live DVD....and then tell me that you think Tom cold continue to pull this off night after night....the fact that he did it as long as he did amazes me...the fact is I would pay full concert price to see him play guitar for 90 minutes....he is a brilliant guitar player...imo, one of the very best of the 80's bands....it's like Page with a touch of steroids..., Tom Keifer gives 110% on every show, every tour, every song...there's just no way his voice is going to continue to hold up to that...none of us are getting any younger....So if the band needs to do select shows...then so be it...If they need a fifth member to help with the high vocal parts...Ok, I know that Keifer has to have tons of new material sitting in some type of home studio needing to be released...we are starving for new music here, and when I play that dvd, and remember the live shows, and see the wasted talent, I get so frustrated with it...I love live music...and blues oriented hard rock music in general....If I didn't have a job with kids and responsibilities, I'd offer to take management of this band, because even if they never tour again, I honestly feel I could do better than what we, the fans are receiving....sorry for venting....
