I know the band isn't touring, or recording. But it seems like they can still let everyone know what the members are up to. Eric having a baby, Jeff doing different projects, Tom and his rehab, etc. It would at least keep people interested in things until something happens again. If the people who run this site aren't going to do it, I would.
If a new fan came to the site now they would probably think that the band is done by the last update in the news being in 2007. I'm in a band, and even when we have been on hiatus, we still kept things updated so people didn't lose interest. And yes, the first thing I would do is get a new message board. This one is pretty outdated. Hopefully Tom gets well enough to tour next year.
