Actually Tom sounded fine on that tour in 1995. They just weren't drawing many people. In fact, it featured their longest setlists to date. I have a few shows somewhere, that I'll look for. Here is the setlist from the Providence, RI show at the Strand 4/23/95. Almost TWICE as long as any setlist they've had since 2000!
