There were a few other celebrities there. He made a very good speech; he's very humorous. I met his oldest son and told him I drove from Northern CA to see him by myself and he took me around the ropes to meet him. When I walked up to him, he was standing next to his star tap dancing. Cutest thing I've ever seen. Quite the dancer. His son introduced us and I started to shake his hand, but he said if I was such a fan, I needed a hug. Yes I did. Got a few pictures of that, by the way. He was friendly, joking with everyone and oh my, television doesn't do him justice. By the way, I don't think any of his kids look like him at all. Strange but true. They're all nice looking people, but I was surprised. I didn't see the resemblance. They then left to celebrate at the Stinking Garlic (restaurant). What a lovely man.
