I would love to have seen the show last longer and a 'relationship' develop between JC & Dulcey..with more subtle looks and gentle touches without being overt.. her character would have matured with the interaction between the two.. the feisty, pioneering spirit of the younger woman .. learning from the older & more experienced man...it would have brought out more of his masculine gentleness...whew... I could use a splash of cool water just imagining it now!

: Hi...I agree SW and Dulcey..could go
: no other way. Whitey (in the
: episode Whitey) saw it and in Battle
: of Bloody Stones SW was trying to
: tell D all that she has in Cimarron
: to stay for...her inn, her
: restaurant her bar and a rent paying
: marshall and to quote SW...it's all
: yours Dulcey....don't think he meant
: the rent money!! It was
: inevitable..would have loved to have
: seen it!! And in "The
: Hunted" SW was jealous of D and
: the "outlaw"...it was
: great though to see D grow and
: change so much during the season. SW
: grew to see her more and more..

: I agree - he was very handsome in
: The
: Commancheros. However, in CS he had
: that more mature rugged look that I
: just love. And I also agree that it
: would have been great to see
: "Jim" and
: "Dulcey" have a bit of a
: romance. They had some great scenes
: together. They wouldn't have to
: make it super obvious, but just sort
: of subtle hints of a romance. In a
: way kind of like "Matt"
: and "Kitty". You knew it
: was there, but they didn't throw it
: at you. Anyway, I know alot of
: people disagree and think there
: absolutely should not have been a
: romance. "To each his
: own" right? Everyone take care
: and talk to ya'll later.

: Oh, I forgot to mention that I saw,
: hmmm, I think it was "The
: Comancheros" on TV. Stu was
: really young and so handsome. He's
: still so handsome, but dang! There's
: something to be said for a person at
: his peak! That's why I love
: Cimarron, too; he was just so great.
: I love seeing Stuart Whitman and
: Jill Townsend together at their
: peaks. I still wish the show had
: lasted and we could have seen them
: go on to have a real romance. :)

: I was excited a while back to see a
: TV
: listing for "The Mark." I
: thought that FINALLY I would get to
: see Stu's great movie again.
: Unfortunately, it was another movie
: of the same name. I was so
: disappointed! Did you ever see Stu's
: "The Mark"? It was great.
: He's the best. :)

: If anyone out there is interested in
: writing I'm sure you have all seen
: the Story of Ruth it is a good movie
: that SW does a great job in. There
: are a few that are not as good but
: you still can watch. There are not
: many on TV right now. Oh well just
: thought I would chit-chat if anyone
: would like to respond. Have a good
: day.
