I am 50 years old now and remember Cimarron very well. S.W. portrayed his character to perfection. I will always remember another film Mr. Whitman did that left a lasting impression on me and that was "The sands of Kalahari". Not sure if it it available on DVD but really a good made for t.v. movie. I also think Mr. Whitman showed great chemistry with John Wayne. I wish he had done even more westerns as he was a natural.
