I also agree. I think, whether Jim wanted to be or not, he was jealous. I always thought that he felt he was too old for Dulcey (or maybe she was too young for him) but he still had feelings for her. This may sound kind of goofy, but there were scenes in different episodes that I always thought were neat - in "The Hunted" when she told him Gene was bad and Jim held her hands, in "Knife in the Darkness" when she mentioned how cold it was in the Inn and he sqeezed her hand for just a second. There were others, but scenes like that to me are just neat. To me they show that he cares. He's so gentle when he does it too. I know that probably sounds corny, but those little touches between a man and woman are romantic to me.
