They have not been re-mastered, therefore, they do show their age as far as color, too dark at times, etc.. I thought Mr. Whitman said he was having them restored. Unsure of the process you must go through to do that. I know it is a very expensive process and I do not know if there are different degrees in this process and maybe it needed more work? Again, I just don't know anything about that. I am sorry to hear you have had such a problem with yours. I know you said they have a disclaimer regarding the quality, but it seems to me that they could at least offer you a replacement if you send yours back and they could check it out. How many did you buy? Could it be that the disks themselves are defective? Do you have more than one DVD player? I have found that depending on the format of the disk, sometimes some players work better than others. Just a thought.
