Hi Bret, I don't mind longer cigars, like 7" as you mentioned. I don't usually smoke them but its usually related to the time committment it would require to be fully smoked and the cost. Yes I do buy most of my cigars, generally the only ones I don't by myself are those offered up by someone else at a party or something. Once in a while I might also have my husband stop on the way home if I don't have time.
