This was a bit of a "Little, White lie" on her part, as she is a Nurse, and she KNOWS the dangers of smoking, as do we all! But, I she grew to understand that I was not the ordinary, "judgemental", so-called "Liberal" sort that populates my "Neck of the Woods" (Seattle), she admitted that she smoked now and then, mostly as a nervous release. MY response was to say: "Look! There's nothing all that wrong with smoking tobacco, no matter what the so-called 'Liberals' (who are probably snortin' coke!) say about it! But, if cigarette smoking is NOT what you want to do, then join me in smoking a nice cigar! It will please you and satisfy you in a way cigarettes simply won't!". Well, I figured that this was "Wishful Thinking" on my part, Hazard...but it wasn't! She dropped by a house that I'm remodeling the other night, and I let her try three nice "Churchills", each in their turn. Turned out she was fondest of the most complex of the three, a nice, rich Madura, sort of a "Rush Limbaugh" kind of smoke! Boy, was I stunned! No, Lad! Nothing more than good smoke & Guinesse or two in OUR scenario, although I admit: I sure WOULDN'T kick her outta bed for eatin' crackers! Nor for smokin' me stogies, either! Matter of fact, I've got to admit: Our smoking together was a "bonding" thing, not unlike good sex itself! Funny how that can work, eh, Lad? For Hazard90 - Good on YOU, Laddie Buck! I happen to be 54, and, like you, I've always had something of a fascination with women who really enjoyed cigars, and have dated several! As it happens, I have recently began dating a GREAL gal with whom I've bonded on several levels. She has a GLORIOUS appreciation for things Celtic, as do I, and the Celts are an intense people!
