Guys,
I apologize for what I'm about to say, but I honestly mean this. After giving this a lot of thought and certain circumstances with family that have come up, I regretfully am retiring from the game I love. I just want to take the time to thank each and every one of you for accepting me as a part of this family. Nothing will ever replace the years and memories that I have with you guys, we accomplished so much on that field together. The championships, 54 straight wins, Miami, the friends and family I have made for life....I will cherish this forever! Thank you Terry and Kevin for being coaches and most of all fathers to me, this team and this game brought me through some of the darkest days of my life and I will never forget that.
With all of this said, I owe you guys a reason for this. My mom just recently had a full hip replacement, and those of you that know me know that she does not live here. The recovery process for this is 12 weeks, I will be traveling back and forth all summer to help her and my family out. I have family and friends getting married all summer as well, so I apologize I just will not have the time.
I wish all of you the best of luck on the upcoming season and in life! I will always be there for any of you, I hope you realize that.
