I honestly believe once you become immune to winning and playing every year you forget about the basics. The 2010 pre-season should be all ballz out practice with everything covered. On-side kicks are a part of the game and we never even practiced them because maybe we thought we would never have to recover one in a game.
Start at ground zero and cover it all is my vote. We all know how to play football, and to play well. But we have too many guys on our team that can bring years of experience and great training to the table to not cover everything. 2-3 days for practice, weight training, and some good marketing to the rest of the Chicago public can help build this team physically, mentally, and financially.
