With baseball season fast approaching, Marquee Sports Network has announced part of its plans for the upcoming season.
The TV home of the Cubs announced the return of the Emmy Award-winning "Road to Wrigley" whiparound show to highlight the regional sports network's exclusive coverage of the team's minor leagues.
Hosted by Elise Menaker, along with Lance Brozdowski & MLB Pipeline writer Jim Callis from Marquee's Wrigleyville studios, "Road to Wrigley" provides whiparound-style coverage of the Cubs' minor league affiliates at Class A South Bend & Myrtle Beach, along with Double A Tennessee & Triple A Iowa. The show features live in game coverage of key at bats & moments as they happen from the team's top prospects. The hosts also answer fan questions & comments from social media during the broadcast.
The season premiere airs Friday, April 5 @ 6:30P (CT). The network has also announced 41 live games throughout the Cubs' minor league system.
Elise, Lance & Jim will also have the call of the Cubs' Minor League Breakout game this Friday vs the White Sox @ 3:05P (CT).
