For decades, I followed the Mediabase charts, checking out WBBM, WLUM or WHTZ charts, as examples. So FEW stations have on-line charts. Is there are source for this or is there a way to access this from Mediabase or elsewhere?
Love to look at most played, adds, etc.
Re: All Access shuts down. Where to get GOOD radio charts?
When Joel created it, was different times. There is no money in that. Also, it has moved to social media. Also Twitter has dumbed down people to the 150 character limit.
I believe Mediabase charges an arm and leg for the data. They do not want to release it to the public for free.
John, you are a better person than I am. CHR is shit. Crap. Garbage. The music is corporate. There is no local music talent cultivated. Most major market stations are nationalizing within the parent company so they share playlists even if the spins are different. The jocks are gagged what they can say. They no longer get small to mid market training to get their chops sharp to be major market ready. Add in 12 minute stopsets that bleed through the TOH ID. No wonder young listener numbers are a ghost town. I can't even follow those lists as there is no surprise or trend.
Anyone notice B96 "new" direction? No movement. JAMS is UP. - As the 54+ demo keeps aging, last one working please turn off the lights.
