First off, a VERY SINCERE best wishes to Dave Marsett. Truly an authoritative, commanding, young sounding voice! I'd hear you afternoons on Saturdays and evenings/overnights on Sunday Nights! Get some rest. You won't have to look at a clock now (as in...WBBM Newstime...) Cheers, sir!
Do you THINK you could go live 24/7, and not run pre-recorded news overnights? Jackie Swike M.I.A. over a year now. There is traffic, and I miss retired Steven Hass. There is sports than doesn't have to be pre-recorded in late evenings.
KNX Los Angeles (same company) is live 24/7. Take a hint!

No they are actually discussing how to cut back further at NewsRadio and every other outlet in this market and the whole company. The "nationalization" should explain it all. Rolling out nationalization and more hard drive personalities when B96 is at a 2 share and KNOU in LA is at a 1.8 - great move.
KNX will go through the same soon. The cancer has not spread there yet.

Audicy doesn’t care about cutting back and whatnot means to its audience shares as all the other radio companies are doing the same thing.
The big radio companies are literally killing the product that they own. It’s really unbelievable.

One might think local would win. "They" (radio) was telling us (for over a year now) to shop local and save the restaurants and the like, but when it comes to their own product..... "well, our 15 vice presidents and 73 deputy assistants love it, so...I'm in favor."
A Chicago hot dog is different from a NY Coney! A Chicago deep dish pizza is different from....
"Common sense is not that common."
Too, I look at what is happening in Canada with their all-news outlets, or CHR, Classic Hits, all the rest. All national branding, etc.
I think there might be 4 dj's left in the whole country. (sarcasm)
