The Bulls are the #9 seed in the Eastern Conference and will have to win twice to clinch a playoff spot. They will host the #10 seed Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night at United Center. The game will tip off at 8:30P (CT) and will be broadcast on ESPN & on 670 AM The SCORE/Bulls Radio Network.
Even though NBC Sports Chicago won't have the hometown broadcast of Wednesday's Hawks/Bulls' Play In game, the regional sports network is planning to air pre & postgame coverage with Jason Goff, Kendall Gill & Will Perdue starting @ 8P (CT).
Ryan Ruocco, one of the voices of the Brooklyn Nets on YES Network, will call Hawks/Bulls Wednesday night on ESPN. Ruocco also called the Chicago Sky's first WNBA Championship in franchise history back in 2021 and was also on the call for South Carolina's 3rd NCAA Women's Basketball Championship last Sunday vs Iowa in Cleveland.
Ruocco will be joined by his YES teammate, former NBA guard Richard Jefferson at courtside on ESPN Wednesday night. Rising ESPN star, Chicago's own Cassidy Hubbarth, will work the sidelines for the exclusive national broadcast.
Chuck Swirsky, Bill Wennington & Alyssa Bergamini will provide the ONLY hometown call for Bulls Radio Network listeners. The SCORE's pregame coverage tips @ 8:15P (CT) Wednesday night.
A Bulls' win Wednesday night doesn't guarantee a playoff spot. They would face the loser of the Miami Heat/Philadelphia 76ers' Play In game Friday night in either Miami or Philadelphia. The winner of Heat/76ers will clinch the #7 seed and face the New York Knicks in the 1st Round of the NBA Playoffs this weekend.
As for Bulls & Hawks, needless to say, it's win or go home. Period.
