LOOL! They beat Brandmeier in AM drive, handedly, during the 90s. He headed out to LA thinking it was all green pastures. We all know how that ended up. His WGN resurface, you got drunk, you didn't realize he was there. Where are Johnny B's offers? B96, E&J were on KHITS and they turned down the WLS-FM offer. --- 19 year run, last contract was 21 million. Care to help a friend and show me Johnny B's 21 mil contract?
See, you and I are on different levels and different worlds. I am not saying E&J were better & I am not saying I did not like Johnny B. The FACT is E&J were more successful and earned more. Your opinion is yours and I respect that. But FACTS are reality. You are trying to push fact as your opinion. Doesn't work that way and it is not fun to bang head against wall, it is what it is and I am done with your trolling.
My parting words? See image below. Making fun of them? E&J didn't view it that way, as they joined in on the making fun. It was one of the WGN-TV's best bits and audience faves, ever. The irony is the article link below:
The bits are the genius of producer Jeff Hoover. The Second City alumnus and former “Jonathon Brandmeier Showgram” producer/performer/writer found himself out of work when Johnny B didn’t renew with WLUP in 2001 — and watching a lot of TV.
This past Halloween, we were on our way to do our annual remote at Fantasy Costumes with Ana [Belaval] and Paul [Konrad} listening to Eddie and Jobo on the radio,” Hoover explains.
Yeah..... 'Nuff said. 🤣👋✌️
