I read your message regarding a possible translator for WGN-AM.
Translators seem to be springing up like weeds. I'm not sure of their signal range.
A question: The FCC must monitor both FM spacing and the power of a translator. Are there cases where a translator has interfered with a full power FM's signal? Take any Chicago FM station which broadcasts from the Sears Tower or the Hancock Building for example.
I believe beyond a certain range; the Chicago FM station cannot complain to the FCC because the interference could be "out of market" as it were.
Perhaps beyond a 60-mile radius?
I once read a note from Jeremy who listed the Chicago FM signals which could clearly be heard up in Wisconsin where he lives.
